Diborane (B2H6) Detectors
We supply fixed diborane gas detectors engineered for real-time monitoring in semiconductor manufacturing and high-technology research environments. These detectors use electrochemical sensors capable of detecting diborane at very low parts-per-million levels, with rapid response times for early warning. Regular calibration maintains high accuracy and ensures compliance with workplace exposure limits.
Our detection systems from Crowcon combine precision sensing with durable construction and easy integration into plant-wide safety networks, making them ideally suited for high-risk industries where reliability cannot be compromised.
Safeguard staff and protect high-technology operations with our fixed diborane detection systems, designed for semiconductor and chemical environments.
Diborane (B₂H₆) is a colourless, highly toxic, and pyrophoric gas used primarily in the semiconductor industry for doping processes and in specialised chemical synthesis. Despite its industrial value, diborane presents severe hazards: it is extremely flammable, igniting spontaneously in air, and toxic by inhalation even at low concentrations. Symptoms of exposure may include respiratory distress, neurological effects, and potential organ damage. Because diborane provides little warning before dangerous concentrations are reached, sensitive and continuous monitoring is essential in facilities where it is present.
