Phosphine (PH3) Detectors
We supply a comprehensive range of fixed and portable phosphine gas detectors designed for early warning and continuous protection. These detectors typically use electrochemical sensors or specialised semiconductor/metal-oxide technologies engineered to detect low ppm and sub-ppm concentrations with fast response times. Instruments are supplied with clear alarm thresholds, data-logging capability, and straightforward calibration routines to maintain accuracy and long-term performance in industrial environments.
Our phosphine detection solutions are available from leading manufacturers including BW, Crowcon, Dräger, GMI, Honeywell, MSA, RAE Systems, Riken Keiki, and Uniphos. Fixed systems are suitable for installation in process areas, storage rooms, and plant-wide safety networks, while portable units provide personal protection for maintenance, confined space entry, and leak investigation. Because phosphine can give little advance warning by smell, relying on professional detection equipment is critical to protect personnel and operations.
Secure your workforce and operations in semiconductor fabs, fumigation sites, and chemical plants with our reliable phosphine monitoring systems. Contact our technical team for product selection guidance, specification support, and calibration/service options tailored to your site requirements.
Phosphine (PH₃) is a colourless, highly toxic gas commonly used in semiconductor manufacturing, metal processing, fumigation, and chemical synthesis. It is both acutely toxic and flammable, and in impure form can be pyrophoric, igniting spontaneously in air. Because phosphine can cause rapid onset of severe respiratory and neurological effects and may be odourless at dangerous concentrations, continuous and reliable monitoring is essential wherever it is handled or generated.
