Description

Crowcon SMART 3G-D2 is a fixed gas detector for toxic, flammable, VOC and refrigerant hazards in Zone 1 industrial areas, combining wide gas coverage with non-intrusive, one-person maintenance.

Crowcon SMART 3G-D2 is a versatile fixed gas detector for continuous monitoring of toxic and flammable gases, VOCs, oxygen, CO2 and refrigerants in demanding industrial environments. It supports over 50 gases with interchangeable catalytic, infrared, electrochemical and PID sensors, enabling a single platform across diverse applications. High-visibility status indication and recognised functional safety and hazardous area approvals support safety-critical duties. Non-intrusive, one-person calibration, long-life sensor options and flexible outputs for both local alarms and control systems help reduce downtime, simplify integration and lower whole-life operating costs.

AT A GLANCE

  • Standardise on one platform: Wide gas coverage and interchangeable sensor technologies support toxic, flammable, VOC and refrigerant monitoring across multiple applications.
  • Engineered for hazardous areas: Certified for use in demanding industrial zones with a rugged, IP65-rated aluminium enclosure for long-term fixed installations.
  • Non-intrusive, one-person servicing: Hall-effect or magnetic-pen calibration keeps the enclosure closed, helping reduce permits, downtime and maintenance effort.
  • Ready for control systems: Analogue 4–20 mA, relays and optional RS485 Modbus enable straightforward integration from simple local alarms to complex safety networks.
