The PGM-IR refrigerant leak detector offers superior performance and functionality for low ppm level leak detection of refrigerants, Carbon Dioxide, Nitrous Oxide or Sulfur Hexafluoride. A built-in library of 50 refrigerants enables the PGM-IR to accurately detect the smallest leaks at their source. The unit is immune to sudden changes in temperature or humidity and to over-exposure. The PGM-IR requires no zeroing of positive readings with extended exposure to gas. It has a data logging capacity of up to 200 readings.

Dangers of Flammable Gases

Flammable gases pose significant dangers due to their ability to ignite and sustain combustion. Here are some of the key hazards associated with flammable gases: Fire and Explosion: Flammable gases can ignite easily in the presence of an ignition source such as a spark, flame, or heat. Once ignited, they can rapidly propagate combustion, leading to fires and explosions. These ...

Volatile Organic Compounds ( VOC’s )

Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are a group of chemicals that can easily evaporate into the air at room temperature. They are emitted from a wide array of sources, including household products, building materials, and industrial processes. While many VOCs are harmless, some can pose significant health risks, especially when present in high concentrations or in poorly ventilated spaces. Here are ...

Dangers of Hydrogen Sulphide Gas

Another common hazard we are asked about is dangers from slurry on farms and how H2S can easily overpower anyone who gets too near . Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) gas poses several dangers to human health and the environment. Here are some of the main risks associated with exposure to hydrogen sulfide: Toxicity: Hydrogen sulfide is highly toxic even at low ...
