The Honeywell BW Clip platform covers hydrogen sulphide, carbon monoxide, oxygen and sulphur dioxide, supporting continuous monitoring of toxic and oxygen hazards in areas that may be classified due to flammable gases, vapours or combustible dust. Models are available in 2-year and 3-year versions, depending on gas, with battery life dimensioned to power the detector for its entire rated service period under typical alarm exposure patterns. For 2-year hydrogen sulphide and carbon monoxide units, an optional hibernation mode – accessed via a dedicated hibernation case or IntelliDoX – allows operation to be paused when the detector is not required, extending total service life by up to 12 months.
