Ethyl Acetate (C4H8O2) Detectors
We supply fixed ethyl acetate gas detectors engineered for continuous monitoring in industrial environments where solvents are handled. These detectors use infrared (IR) and catalytic bead sensors for accurate detection across explosive limit ranges, with rapid response times to provide early warning of leaks. Routine calibration ensures reliable accuracy and compliance with workplace exposure standards.
Our detectors from Crowcon are built for industrial reliability, robust performance, and seamless integration into facility-wide safety systems, making them ideally suited to manufacturing, printing, and pharmaceutical plants.
Protect your staff and reduce fire risks with our fixed ethyl acetate detection systems, designed for solvent-handling industries.
Ethyl acetate (C₄H₈O₂) is a volatile organic solvent widely used in paints, coatings, adhesives, packaging, printing, and pharmaceuticals. It is valued for its effectiveness as a solvent, but it presents significant safety risks. Ethyl acetate is highly flammable, and vapour accumulation can create fire and explosion hazards. Exposure to elevated concentrations may also cause irritation to the eyes, nose, and throat, with central nervous system effects such as dizziness or headaches at higher levels.
